We have been friends since USA was defeated in the War of 1812, but now Canada and USA are at war. Fortunately, it is government-to-government, not 340-Million Americans Vs 40-Million Canadians. Occasionally we do not agree, but Canadians would never go to war with our American friends and neighbours. The purpose of this website petition is two-fold:
- We wish to demonstrate to our American friends our total commitment to assist them in their efforts as Republicans against Trump.
- With a high participation rate by Canadians to show approval for our Prime Minister, 10 Premiers and 2 Territory Leaders to keep “the elbows up” and fight hard on our behalf.
It is embarrassing for all North Americans how, not planned Trump-led Republicans administration and followers are destroying the USA leadership reputation: bad-mouthing allies, Ukraine, Mexico, Canada and other countries who for decades have looked to the USA for leadership and assistance.
Canada did not want this war. We have been insulted by Trump referring to us as the 51st state and referring to our Prime Minister as a governor. Our actions to date and going forward will be protecting our democratic rights. If Trump wishes to persist he should realize: It was Canadians who went “over the hill” at Normandy changing the ground war in WWII.
Please make a strong effort to circulate this link https://canadianssupportingamericansagainsttrump.com to as many Canadians as possible to send a strong message to our American friends to the south: We support all Americans, especially Republicans Against Trump Administration in your efforts to change Trump is leading your great nation.
We did not request the 25% tariff on steel and aluminum driving up your costs from everything including beer cans and raising cost of automobiles by $-thousands. We need a high participation rate by Canadian answering questions to send a very strong message to our Prime Minister, 10 Premiers and 2 Territory Leaders.
